In the summer from June to August, the average maximum temperature is as high as 111 °F accompanied by blazing sunshine: rainfall is almost completely unknown at this time of year. Here is one of the deployment locations for our soldiers; one of the most hazardous to be located at time.

The mountain regions of the northeast are subarctic with dry and cold winters. In the mountains bordering Pakistan, a divergent fringe effect of the monsoon, generally coming from the southeast, brings tropical air masses that determine the climate between July and September. Another place where are soilder may be deployed to at a moment's notice.

August is very hot (90°F+) and quite humid, and generally without afternoon showers to cool things down. Generally where long deplyments of a year or more occur for the soldiers.
